The Statement She Actually Made When Natalie Grant Left The Grammy’s Early

Natalie GrantI’ve been watching all the hoopla about Natalie Grant leaving the Grammy’s and my own thought about it finally occurred to me. What I mean by that is by the time I found out about the incident, most of the things I would have thought on the subject had already been said.

To catch people up, she left the Grammy’s early and then posted on facebook these exact words, “We left the Grammy’s early. I’ve many thoughts about the show tonight, most of which are probably better left inside my head. But I’ll say this: I’ve never been more honored to sing about Jesus and for Jesus. And I’ve never been more sure of the path I’ve chosen.”

So, the left wants to make a big thing out of it and say her actions implied blah, blah and blah. Then of course, the right comes back with their own take on it and what she did was actually blah, blah and blah. So here we are again, finding ourselves in a situation with everyone trying to tell us what to think about it.

But, here’s my own thought on it. We tell people all the time if you’re offended by what you are seeing, then don’t watch it! So Natalie did just that and people still gotta hate. Haters be hating baby! If they didn’t have anything to hate, they would hate it.

So to anyone and everyone, take this small example as your sign, just do you! Don’t worry about what people think! There are always going to be haters finding the negative in everything you do. Gravitate toward the positive and keep doing you!

By the way, haters make great PR. Natalie’s fans have jumped by the thousands since the story broke past the heavily stained underwear band that is supposed to be holding the crap back!
