What’s going on with this sandwich? There is no way it’s so good that people are willing to murder over it! Get a grip! You need Cheez-Its in your lives…
If you don’t know what’s going on with the Popeyes Chicken Sandwich, you have obviously had your head buried in the sand for the last couple of months. To catch you up real quick, the sandwich was introduced to the market and sent everyone scrambling. Chick-Fil-A, KFC, and Wendy’s are a few of the major restaurant chains who felt the blow.
So, a competition started between them. Customers were actually checking them out and doing taste tests with them side by side. But then, the supplies ran low for Popeyes and there were fights over the sandwich. Popeyes started making headlines for something totally different, the ridiculous behavior of customers who were ready to fight, claw, crawl, and bribe their way to get a sandwich. It’s a sandwich! Get a grip!
But, no! Those reasonable words of advice would go unheeded. But soon, the battle would be over because Popeyes ran out completely. Now, you’re all caught up. That is until now. This is the second rodeo and if it’s possible, it looks even worse. People have lost their minds over the sandwich and it’s absolutely unexplainable.
HERE’S A VIDEO OF A CUSTOMER RUINING HER CAR
That’s just a taste for how crazy people are acting over the sandwich. Would you damage your car like that? We’re talking about a person who needs to take a few deep breaths and bring it down a notch. Of course, that’s a nice way of saying, “Seek medical attention!”
But, that just scratches the surface. People are fighting over the sandwich as in actually throwing fists. Guys are literally climbing through drive-through windows and going in the kitchen to beat up the manager. It’s way out of hand…
But the worst of it happened a few days ago and it’s the hardest of it all to believe. A man was stabbed to death because he cut in line at a Popeyes. Of course that’s over-the-top overreacting, but it sets the bar really low for everyone else looking for this kind of attention…and possibly twenty years in prison.
