PARTYNEXTDOOR has been promising an album since January. His fans patiently waited and then, he announced he would release the album in February. I know one thing, it’s not a good idea to break a promise with your fans.
If you have to cancel a show due to illness or death in the family, the fans understand. It’s an inconvenience. Some fans make plans and drive miles to go to a show that gets canceled at the last minute. They might not be able to duplicate those moves when their favorite musician comes back, but they will forgive you. It won’t be the end of the world.
This is a little different though. PARTYNEXTDOOR is playing with emotions here. And he drops a single to make everyone happy? Will that do it? I’m not sure. What I do know is his fans aren’t happy right now with him. They are letting him know in no unclear words.
thank you sir, we appreciate it. pic.twitter.com/gsgw4BXwEX

I would say the fans are more than mad. It’s not a good thing to play with their emotions. Fans are resilient. They will come back to you if you’re good, but that’s what some of them are saying. This album better be fire putting them through all this.
