Dave Chappelle’s 8:46 Is As Honest And Direct As It Gets And It’s Not Just About George Floyd

Dave Chappelle said it best in his new video 8:46 when Don Lemon called out silent celebrities who aren’t showing up at the protests, “This is the streets talking for themselves!”

He makes a good point. The protestors are making the noise. Celebrities might want to stick their faces in the camera and take some of that attention away as if they’re doing something good. But the streets can speak for themselves. They’ve done a good job so far.

But why read what I have to say about it? Dave can tell you for himself and as you listen, you’ll realize it’s so much more than George Floyd. George Floyd is the name for today. But this has been going on for way too long. At least, that’s the message I hope you get out of it.
