The first money I ever made over the internet was when I accepted a contract to write a book for John Gordon Burke Publisher. A New Return to Urbanism was written in 2002 and has been on the Forthcoming Publications page ever since.
I have worked since then as a writer, most of which has been in a ghostwriting capacity. Many of my clients have been marketers. So, I have learned a great deal about making money online. I have learned from the best out there because I have written their material for them. I was given a free education about online marketing.
But, where most marketers fall short is that they like to market marketing to marketers. That’s a bunch of nothingness. I’ve been working with clients to promote their businesses online. Far different from marketing marketing to marketers. I’ve literally made people hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. While marketers are screaming about making people a hundred thousand a month, I’ve produced real results and seen real statistics.
When I launched my campaign for A Danger to Society, I knew I could produce the same results for myself that I had for my clients. I made a killing. But, the funny thing is that I still get sales for my book and they come from the most obscure places. Sites I haven’t visited in awhile. Sites I created years ago. Links I created years ago. Strategies I used years ago are still generating sales for me and I have no reason to change a thing.
So, I decided that I knew enough to tell others how to do their own marketing on their own businesses. Not marketing businesses, but legitimate businesses. I can help someone sell anything from shoes to bonzai trees. It depends on their niche.
